How to Play
Everything you need to get moving, start gathering, and understand the economy — the same guide Elder Digg gives new players in-game.
Movement
⛏️ Mining
Head to the Mining Cave on the south side of the map. Equip a pickaxe from your hotbar, then walk up to ore veins to mine them. Ores are used for crafting and upgrading tools.
🌲 Foraging
Trees and plants around the world drop wood and herbs. Equip an axe or your hands and swing at them. Materials can be sold or crafted.
🐟 Fishing
Equip the fishing rod and stand near water. Press E to cast, then click fast when a fish bites before the timer runs out!
🪙 Gold & Market
Earn Gold by mining, fishing, and foraging. Spend it in the Shop tab, or buy more Gold on-chain with $DIGZ tokens via the On-Chain market.
🥚 Pets
Find Eggs while mining. Take them to the Hatchery to hatch your pet. Pets follow you everywhere and can be listed for sale on the Pets marketplace (P2P, on-chain).
🐴 Mounts
Buy mounts On-Chain → Mounts using $DIGZ tokens. You can own all three: Horse, Wolf, and Eagle. Swap between them anytime in your Inventory → Mounts tab.
⚔️ Dungeons
Head to the Dungeon Portal at the south end of the map. You'll need to reach the required level and craft a Dungeon Key before you can enter — pick a difficulty tier at the portal, then dive in.
Invite another player nearby into a Party for a co-op run. Clearing a dungeon drops Shards, which you can bring to the Mount Forge to forge a new mount, or exchange for Gold if you already own it.
🏟️ PvP — The Colosseum
Head to the Colosseum near the Mining Cave and press E to open the PvP menu. Hit Quick Queue to get matched against another player — once a match is found, you're both dropped into the arena to fight it out.
📱 Playing on Mobile
Diggerz runs entirely in the browser, including on phones — but since mobile browsers don't have a Phantom extension, you connect through Phantom's own built-in browser instead:
- Install the Phantom app (App Store / Google Play) from phantom.app.
- Open the Phantom app and switch to its built-in Browser tab.
- Type in https://diggerz.fun and load the site.
- Tap Play Now and approve the connect + sign-in prompts inside Phantom.
Once you're in, a virtual joystick (move) and on-screen buttons (E to interact, ↑ to jump) appear at the bottom of the screen in place of the keyboard controls.
💡 Tips
- Upgrade your tools from the Tools tab in the market for faster gathering.
- Energy regenerates over time — log back in if you run out, or sleep in a house to fully restore it instantly.
- You need a Phantom wallet with $DIGZ tokens to access on-chain features.
